Susan V. Lesavoy

Susan Lesavoy is a Certified Life Care Planner and Certified Legal Nurse Consultant who has more than 10 years of experience in a variety of critical care nursing areas.
Ms. Lesavoy has been practicing as a registered nurse since 1998. She specialized in emergency care, telemetry, urgent care and IV Sedation. Through her work in the medical field, she has extensive knowledge of the functions of a hospital, such as Standards of Care and hospital policies and procedures. She is able to assess, plan, implement and reassess the care plan for her clients.
In 2008 Ms. Lesavoy became a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant (CLNC) through Vickie Milazzo Institute, a division of the Medical-Legal Consulting Institute, Inc. After experiencing the death of a loved one because of the negligence on the part of the health care system, Susan found Legal Nurse Consulting as a career opportunity to help those in need. With this certification she was able to do her part to help injured people with her knowledge in the legal arena by providing attorneys with consulting on the various technical medical issues regarding doctor and hospital patient care.
Being able to assist people in their time of need is very important for Susan. As a result of a catastrophic event she wanted to be able to provide a plan for clients’ future as a Certified Life Care Planner (CLCP). In 2009 she graduated with highest honors from Capital University Law School with a Certificate as a Life Care Planner. Providing Life Care Plans to those individuals who have suffered a catastrophic injury for Attorneys, workmen compensation companies and insurance companies is very fulfilling and rewarding for Susan. Attorneys regularly use these plans during litigation and for better settlements by educating the jury with her well written life care plans.
Susan has established Attorneys’ Advocate LLC, a company that offers both Legal Nurse Consulting and Life Care Planning.
She lived and worked in Florida for more than 20 years prior to moving to Catlett, Virginia, in 2007. She is a member of both the Chamber of Commerce of Fauquier County and The Greater Warrenton Chamber of Commerce. She also currently serves as a Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA), representing the interests of children in the court room.
In her spare time, Ms. Lesavoy enjoys spending time with her three children and her father. One of her most favorite passions is spending time with her horse Kissie.
Susan and Kissie regularly go fox hunting in
the country side of Virginia....
